My oil paintings often depict beautiful, emotionally vivid stories, played out by characters that draw empathy from the viewer. I also paint carefully observed and richly textured still life subjects.

I am an internationally recognized and award-winning artist whose paintings are in collections in both Europe and the U.S. I live and create in Media, PA, near Philadelphia.

My approach is to start painting right onto the canvas, without any preliminary sketching, letting the brush or a palette knife take me places. It's spontaneous, fresh and surprising, just like life itself. You can't plan it - it's all unpredictable.
