Shanthi Manickam is primarily a self-taught artist from Pennsylvania. Born and raised in India, she has a master’s degree in computer science. She initially taught herself to paint landscapes and flowers in acrylic medium. She then became a member and learned Plein Air painting at the Chester County Art Association. She learnt classical painting techniques from an expert artist, Randall Graham. She creates beautiful oil and acrylic paintings in representational style with subjects ranging from landscapes and florals to portraits and figures. She exhibits her works in juried shows, member shows, art festivals, and online shows.
