ARTWORK must be original in design and executed by the applicant. All artwork must be professional quality. Each artist must accompany his own work. No commercial dealers, agents, kits, castings from commercial molds, or mass-produced items.

Unregistered County Studio Artists may not be displayed nor their works offered for sale.

 

FINE ART REPRODUCTIONS may be sold only if signed, numbered, and clearly marked “Reproductions.” All other work displayed must be ORIGINAL work created by the artist.

 

ACCEPTED ARTISTS must be committed to show during all event hours. 

 

HOST STUDIO: Each Host Artist must show in his/her own studio. All Host Applicants must have a studio in their county of application. Commercial storefronts and/or showrooms that are regularly open to the public during business hours are not eligible to participate. Please make sure the roads to your studio are accessible with no parking restriction and your neighbors are willing to cooperate with the large amount of visitors. It is recommended that you have liability insurance added to your homeowner's policy for the event.

Each Host Studio may have up to 5 guest artists at their studio. You may reach out to your guest artists or request guest artists assigned to your location.

GUEST ARTISTS: Guest artists are responsible for their own booth, set up and take down. Guest artists most supply their own tent if they are hosted outside. Not all Host Studios can accommodate Guest artists inside their studio. You may coordinate with your own Host Studio or County Studio Tour may find a subtle Host Studio for you. If we find a Host Studio for you, you will be paired with your Host Studio after notification of acceptance and payment.

All Artists are responsible for collecting and paying to Pennsylvania Department of Revenue, Pennsylvania Sales Tax of 6%. The County Studio Tour reserves the right to reject any work it considers unsuitable.

EVENT FEES:

Application Fee: $30.00 (non-refundable)

Chester County:

Host Studio: $450  (This year there will be no reimbursement for every guest artists hosted) 

Guest Artist: $275 ​

 

Refunds:

50% Show Fee refund will be issued to ACCEPTED ARTISTS who cancel and notify the County Studio Tour AT LEAST 30 days after acceptance (received in writing). No refunds after that date.

 

No refunds will be made for any act of God, local authority or weather-related cancellations of the event.

The County Studio Tour reserves the right to reject any work it considers unsuitable. No refund will be given if artist is ejected from the event for violation of rules.
