MEET THE ARTIST

Helcia DiCaprio lives in West Chester PA and discovered artistic expression late in life. She enjoys working with her hands whether digging in garden soil or using clay to interpret nature. The end result of her art is to create whimsy and to evoke smiles.

Helcia's art begins with creating a sculpture using either an oil-based clay or an epoxy clay. The oil-based clay sculpture is used to create a mother mold for casting in concrete, resin, or plaster. The epoxy clay sculpture is a weather resistant material that does not require casting.
